We’re genuinely excited to introduce ElevaTek, Rousseau’s new adjustable workstation that brings industrial grade ergonomics and flexibility into healthcare environments.
ElevaTek is one of those rare products that has the potential to make a long day feel a little shorter. It takes the classic “workbench” and turns it into an ergonomic, configurable platform that can adapt to each person, each task and each department in your hospital or clinic.
Why ElevaTek matters in healthcare
Healthcare work is physical, detailed and often repetitive, which makes ergonomics and workflow design more than a “nice to have.” ElevaTek’s adjustable height work surface helps staff work in neutral, comfortable postures instead of bending or reaching all day, which can reduce strain over time. Because it is built for continuous use, it also fits environments where stations run across multiple shifts and different people cycle through the same workspace.
Ergonomic height adjustment
ElevaTek offers three adjustment options so you can match the mechanism to the application: electric lift, crank system or manual adjustment. The work surface height ranges roughly from 29 inches up to 45 inches, giving enough travel to accommodate a wide variety of users and tasks, from seated documentation to standing assembly or prep work.
Footprint, configurations and capacity
The workstation comes in multiple widths and depths, with both stationary and mobile models, and with centered or cantilever legs so it can be deployed in tight rooms or open production style areas. The uprights at the back of the table are mountable, and doing so enables the entire work surface to be available for use. Despite the clean design, ElevaTek is a true industrial grade platform, with capacity up to about 1000 lb for electric systems and around 650–675 lb for crank systems, depending on configuration.
Accessories that support real work
ElevaTek’s value really shows up when you start adding accessories: overhead LED lighting, document holders, tool rails, bin rails, spool holders, monitor or laptop arms, power outlet strips, mobile drawer units and more. Uprights mount at the back of the workstation and offer multiple mounting zones, so you can build vertical organization without sacrificing any of the main work surface.
Clean, organized and easy to live with
Accessories and uprights integrate with no visible screws or awkward gaps, so the finished station looks neat and professional and is easier to keep clean, making it infection control friendly. Work surfaces are available in lab friendly materials, including phenolic resin tops, stainless and other durable finishes that stand up to chemicals, cleaning routines and daily wear in labs, pharmacies and clinical areas.
